What happened

Distinct from `invalid_request` (shape) — `validation_failed` means the field types or values violate the published schema (e.g., a string longer than `maxLength`, a value outside an enum).

How to recover

The `param` field points at the failing JSON path; fix that field. Cross-reference the [reference](/docs/reference/) for the endpoint's schema.
