Questions
Do I need a credit card to start?
Yes — you'll add a card when you start the trial. We don't charge for 14 days, and you can cancel anytime before the first charge with one click. We'd rather be upfront than auto-bill someone who forgot the trial was ending.
What counts as a contact?
A unique email address you've imported into a campaign. Suppressed, bounced, or unsubscribed addresses don't count against your limit.
What happens if I hit my plan limit?
Sending pauses and we prompt you to upgrade. We don't surprise-bill for overages — you choose when to step up.
Can I bring my own inboxes?
That's the only way it works. Clement connects to Gmail, Workspace, Outlook, and SMTP/IMAP accounts you already own. We don't run an SMTP relay — you keep your sender reputation, and you can leave anytime without rotating a single domain.
Where is data hosted?
Falkenstein, Germany (Hetzner). EU-resident data, GDPR-friendly. A DPA is available on request — see privacy policy.
Yearly billing vs monthly?
Yearly is 17% cheaper, billed once. Monthly renews every month, cancel anytime from the customer portal.
